Description
Built in 1895 the Causeyville General Store is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has many of the original fixtures as well as working gristmill. Hoop cheese is still sliced on site and other various and sundry items are available.
Situated in southern Lauderdale County, the iconic store was damaged in 2005 by hurricane Katrina and is now only open limited hours.
The "Have a Coke" sign on the side of the building with the image of Sparky has been a popular attraction for the store.
