Artist's Description

An old antique 1940s International fire truck covered in rust sits along side Highway 49 in Coahoma County, Mississippi at the Shack Up Inn near Clarksdale.

The spotlight on the cab and the red dome light have no doubt were used many times during the life of this vehicle. The windshield covered in morning dew obstructs the view of the driver.

The blue sky accentuates the textures and color of the old truck.
