Artist's Description
Throughout the South and other parts of the country wisteria can be found growing. In many cases, as happened here, it is surviving at an old homestead left as time takes it toll on the landscape. The flower is beautiful and plays host to a multitude of insects and in some areas it is considered a noxious weed because of its habit of taking over the host plant if left to grow uncontrolled.
