Artist's Description
This is all that remains of the Diggn Store just south of the Tennessee line in Walnut, Mississippi. At one time this was an appliance store called Luna's but the vines growing on the front of the building have covered the original sign.
The old rustic white doors against the green brick adds a certain allure to this image. The painted sign on the windows with the wheelbarrow surrounded by the decaying wood trim add to the ambiance of the old building. The porch cover missing all of its top offers no protection for the front of the building.
The old store has since been torn down.
