Church from The Help Movie in Mississippi metal print by T Lowry Wilson. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. In the middle of a cotton field in the Mississippi Delta sits the landmark Brooklyn Chapel church. This church was made famous when it was used as a setting in the movie, The Help, which was filmed in the area around Greenwood, Mississippi.
This beautiful white siding church with its stained glass windows sits a few hundred yards south of the Yalobusha River on a dirt road that roughly follows the lay of the land along the river. The blue Delta sky can be seen peaking through the clouds.
The twin spires of the church nestled in a grove of trees can be seen as you round the curve on River Road in Leflore County.
