Description
All throughout the South and especially in the Mississippi Delta are many swamps such as this. This particular swamp is located in the Clarksdale, Mississippi area and is spectacular at sunrise, especially when foggy.
The cypress trees in this southern swamp are quite old and add a dark and moody but beautiful feel to this image. In the fall the needles of the trees become a rusty red further accentuating the beauty of the swamp. The reflections of the trees and the sun add depth to the image.
